Profile Intermedia set out 5 years
ago to stimulate creative and business interest in an increasingly
popular activity. The intermedia - crossover between the arts
proposes that it benefits clients, audiences, the public and creative
people, to break the barriers between media and technologies, art
and
design, audience and commerce. People who utilise that which is
at
hand to them without prejudice create a sum which is greater than
its
parts.
Profile Intermedia 4, our last
conference in December 2001, won
critical acclaim from the press, our audience and the speakers
themselves as thought provoking, inspiring, compelling with un-
expected and exciting contrasts set one against the other. Specially
it raised a marked contrast in the use and approaches to visual
communication and the uses to which it is put.
